First Winter Storms at Calero

The first storm systems of the Winter have finally arrived. The rain that comes with them is more than welcome. It delivers much needed water to Mother Nature and clears the air. We have not seen any substantial rain in more than a half year.

But there is also another reason why I am personally very happy about the storms: The time of boring blue skies is definitively over! So between two storms I spontaneously decided yesterday to go out and visit nearby Calero County Park South of San Jose. And I was not disappointed. I came home with a handful of treescapes with dramatic skies.

    All beautiful. I'm hoping those clouds will make their way down to SoCal in the next few weeks.
