Seeing in SIXES 2018
October 28, 2018
I am very happy that a series of six images of mine have been chosen for LensWork's "Seeing in SIXES 2018" photo book. This is the second time I had the honor making it into the book since this community project started back in 2016.
The series I submitted this year is about trees. If you follow my work, you know that they are a favorite subject. However, the images I had selected this year are not close up treescapes. Instead they show trees in a fair distance. Sometimes a tree or a group of trees in the distance - in relationship to its surroundings - captures the mood I want to convey much better than a tree covering most of the frame.
The book "Seeing in SIXES 2018" presents 50 projects on 312 pages. It's a available for purchase in the LensWork online store.
"I don't understand why distance must be measured in nonnegative numbers." (Stephan Page)
