Stanford Studies

July 2, 2022

I visited the "A Loaded Camera: Gordon Parks" exhibition at the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University in the past week. The images on display were striking and raw. The two images I found the most impressing where Mrs. Jefferson from the "Back to Fort Scott" collection and of Ingrid Bergman from the "I Am You" exhibition. The Gordon Parks Foundation hosts an archive of his photographic work here - in case you want to check out more of his work.

While I was roaming about to explore some other exhibitions I couldn't help myself but notice the intriguing architectural details of the buildings. And since I am always attracted to clean lines, curves and shapes I took the opportunity and made a few images for my on-going Shapes Study project.
