Top 10 Favorites of 2019

That was quick. It is already middle of December! So I guess it is this time of the year, where I pick my top ten personal favorite pictures of past twelve months. And because of my other favorite activity of hiking in the surrounding woods and mountains, I am rather pleased with several "treescapes" I managed to make. Two pictures of lovely trees I made during our summer vacation in Southern Germany even made the list. Regrettably, I did not visit the Pacific coast as often as I had wished or hoped to. But I promise to rectify this shortcoming in the coming year! On the positive side, I did get back into abstract architectural details. I do enjoy these studies with all those lines, curves, light, and shadows.

    A terrific selection of black & whites once more, Stefan. The foggy oaks in particular are gorgeous and my absolute favorites. I also like very first and last image very much - full of contrast, but with a beautiful and complete range of tones. (and also, thank you for the "reminder" to finalize my own selection, when you posted this;-)
